Digital inclusion
Getting people online, and useful once they are there.
Non-profit · Since 2019 · Uttar Pradesh
Dollu Foundation is the non-profit arm of Dollu Ltd. We started by connecting the schools and health centres the network reached last, and stayed to keep them running. Today we work across 15 areas in 11 states - and we publish the numbers that make us look bad alongside the ones that do not.

Nobody Offline. Nobody Left Behind.
We began with connectivity because it is what our parent company knows how to do well. We added the rest because a connected village with unsafe water is not a developed one.

Care for the people the system reaches last.

“Anyone can cut a ribbon.”
Five principles decide what we take on and what we turn down. Three of them are here.
Anyone can cut a ribbon. We budget maintenance, stipends and repairs at the point of installation, because the projects that fail almost never fail on day one.
Survival rates at three years, retention at twelve months, referrals actually confirmed. We report these even when they are worse than we hoped, because a sector that only publishes successes teaches nobody anything.
Where a panchayat's priority is not something we fund, that is a legitimate answer. We do not substitute our own plan for a village's.
We do not take money from a form. Every route ends in a conversation, so you see the accounts and get your questions answered first.
Fund a programme, a district or a named initiative, with the reporting your board and auditor need.
Companies with a CSR obligation under Section 135
Working laptops, network equipment, professional services and end-of-life electronics we recycle responsibly.
Companies with equipment, services or expertise to contribute
Mentoring, teaching, companion calling and skilled professional help - remote and in person.
Individuals and corporate teams
Regular or one-off support. We will talk to you first rather than take money from a form.
Individuals who want to support the work directly
Run something in aid of a programme - with our materials, and our rules about how you describe us.
Supporters, schools, workplaces and community groups
Programme grants with formal monitoring, evaluation and reporting frameworks.
Foundations, multilaterals and government programmes
Money, equipment, expertise or an afternoon a week. We will come back with something specific - and if we are not the right organisation for it, we will say so and suggest who is.
